Gangnam Style singer Psy is coming to Dubai

Dubai will soon groove to the Gangnam Style, as Psy is headed here.

Local celebrity magazine Ahlan! reported that the singer will be in town as part of My Music X, a three-day festival running from March 27 to 30. The South Korean performer joins the likes of American rapper Sean Paul at The Atlantis Hotel, on Dubai’s Palm Jumeirah, on March 28.

Now a world-wide phenomenon, Gangnam Style was the first video to get a billion hits on the Internet. Last year on New Year's Eve Psy enthralled millions at New York’s Times Square.

The organisers of My Music X are reportedly teaming up with 20 city clubs for a number of events. Celebrity stylists Rob Zangardi and Mariel Haenn, who have worked with stars like J-Lo, will also return to Dubai during the festival. Amongst other celebrities, Grammy-winning American musician Teddy Riley, who worked with the late Michael Jackson will also make an appearance.
